Class of 1975 An XC Dual for the Ages Who Would Win? Okay, just for fun, how about a meet between the graduating classes? In other words, the Class of 1975 takes on all comers ... well, actually, takes on all graduating classes from 1970 to 1976, based on the State Meet times from the championship years. (With me so far?) Since every class from 1970 through 1975 has at least four runners in the state rankings (see below), we scored the meet based on the top four runners from each class. Needless to say, the Class of 1975 was the big winner. (And with 14 runners -- out of the 35 total state runners in the five years -- the Class of 1975 dominated in quantity as well.) We bad.
