Girls Basketball
Here's the report from Columbian 75 (our yearbook, of course) on the Girls Basketball team: Girls' sports has taken on a new look at Col-Hi. Girls' Basketball, however, has continued in a tradition old to Richland basketball; that is, they were winners. Coach Boatman led the Senior starting five through a successful season which consisted of 12 victories and only 4 losses. The main spark was supplied by Debbie Rolph. Debbie did everything but perform at half-time. The starting five included Debbie Rolph, Jan Bewlay, Judy Bunch, Laurie Hammack, and Becky Lyness. The bench was predominantly Juniors and Sophomores which should mean more good teams to come. Congratulations to Coach Boatman and this year's team for a great season, and good luck to next year's.
